One Breath Poem
Multi-iterative interactive project which collects and presents poems that fit in one breath.
On several iterations of One Breath Poem (OBP), we have used Processing to collect one breath poem recordings from participants and add them to our growing soundscape of poems. People could also listen to the soundscape. The Telephone Edition invited visitors to breathe on the tin can telephone and be showered (by a directional speaker) in sound, which varied according to the display.
The current version, Message for a Revolution, invites participants to call a number and contribute a one breath poem, and to hear poems left by others.
In collaboration with LabSynthE.
Several members of the lab and I have written about this project here.
