Humans Who Create: Human 13XL13L
This exhibition model and accompanying plans are a response for a 48h exhibition design challenge. The criteria for this challenge were that the exhibition should fit inside the space given (a white cube) and be about my body of work.
I wanted to display my graphic design, world building and immersive experience skills in this project, showcasing my body of work through humorous experiences. I produced a proposal for an exhibition designed by the Sirius System Commission for Extrasystem Affairs.
The series “Humans Who Create” is part of the Commission’s long-term goal to demystify their neighbors from the next System, the creatures called “humans,” inhabitants of T457, known to humans as “Earth.” The series showcase the creative work of individual humans chosen at random, in efforts to offer alternative perspectives on the mainstream narrative that humans are mainly destroyers. This exhibition in specific is about human 13XL713L, Letícia Ferreira.
